Hudson MX, Animated GIFs
While at Hudson MX I created animated GIFs for various needs the marketing team had.
Release Days @ Hudson MX
Per input of the then-CEO, I was asked to create an animation for each sprint that would be updated and included alongside our release notes, highlighting the number of changes to the platform and which modules received updates.
The marketing team moved away from this practice eventually, but it lasted until R159. The animation was made entirely in Adobe After Effects.
The Hudsonscape
The Hudsonscape (as our CMO dubbed it) was a detailed visual representation of the MX Platform’s media ecosystem to potential leads.
I created this graphic based on the CMO’s input on how to present and animate the information for maximum impact to our customer base.
The graphics and parts of the animation were done in Canva and the final pieces of animation were put together in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Personalize your platform
This was created as a LinkedIn ad for Hudson MX to give a simulation of the personalization & saved view features available in the MX Platform.
The graphics for the animated menu were initially created in Adobe Illustrator, and then assembled in Adobe Photoshop & After Effects. The final animation was imported into Canva to assemble this graphic, per the specifications of the CMO and Sr. Marketing & Communications Manger.
Office Hours Are Open
Of the members of the marketing team, the Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager and I held office hours for all of Hudson MX’s staff on rotating weeks.
This would involve us joining a Google Meet call that was accessible to everyone at the company, for a span of 2 hours a week. Our procedure was to turn off our mic and camera, and play this animation via screen sharing while waiting for people to join.
The base assets for the neon sign graphic are pixel art created in Pixaki and animated using Adobe Photoshop.
